Creative Activities, Wellbeing Products and Dementia Support – Welcome to Our Shop
If you’re new here, welcome.
I thought it was time to properly introduce my business, the products I create and, most importantly, the ideas behind them.
At first glance, cross stitch kits, wellbeing planners, journaling products and dementia reminiscence activities might seem like quite a varied collection. But there is a common thread running through everything I create:
Helping people to create, reflect, remember and connect.
My range includes creative activity kits for adults, wellbeing products, journaling resources, meaningful activities for adults living with dementia and practical resources for carers.
Here’s a closer look at what you can find.
Complete Cross Stitch Kits
Cross stitch can be a wonderfully enjoyable way to spend some quiet time creating something with your own hands.
My cross stitch kits have been designed to make getting started as straightforward as possible, with everything you need included in the kit.
Each kit contains a ready-to-hang canvas and frame, with the design already sketched onto the canvas, together with the thread, needle, needle threader, needle minder and pattern.
There’s no need to work out which supplies you need before you begin. Simply choose your design and start stitching.
The current collection includes seaside favourites such as the Lighthouse, Sailboat and Beach Hut, birds and wildlife including the Robin, Blue Tit, Woodpecker, Owl and Fox, as well as cottages, houses and local Dartmoor-inspired designs including Bowerman’s Nose and Brentor Church.
Whether you’re looking for a new creative hobby, a project to enjoy at home or a thoughtful craft gift, the kits are designed to make cross stitch accessible and enjoyable.
Creative Activity Kits for Adults
Sometimes it’s simply nice to sit down and make something.
My creative activity kits use laser-cut wooden pieces that can be decorated using the acrylic paint pens supplied with the kit.
The current collection includes:
- Woodland Scene
- Seaside Scene
- Seaside Tealight
- Decorative Bird House
These are hands-on creative projects that allow you to choose your own colours and put your own personality into the finished piece.
You don’t need to consider yourself particularly artistic or experienced at crafting. The enjoyment comes from taking some time away from everyday jobs and creating something yourself.
Wellbeing Notepads and Planners
Looking after our wellbeing doesn’t always have to involve making huge changes.
Sometimes it can simply mean stopping for a moment and asking ourselves how we’re actually doing.
My wellbeing notepads and planners are designed to provide practical ways to check in with yourself, organise your thoughts and make a little more room for self-care in everyday life.
Rather than aiming for perfection, they are about creating manageable opportunities to pause, reflect and recognise what you might need.
They can be used on their own or alongside journaling and other wellbeing activities.
Wellbeing Gift Boxes
Finding a thoughtful wellbeing gift can be difficult, particularly when you want to give someone something they can actually use.
My wellbeing gift boxes bring together a selection of products designed to encourage relaxation, creativity, reflection and a little time for yourself.
They can make a thoughtful gift for a friend or family member, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with choosing one for yourself either.
Sometimes we all need a reminder to stop for a while.
Journaling Kits
“I’d like to start journaling, but I don’t know what to write.”
It’s one of the biggest barriers people face when they first try journaling.
A completely blank page can feel surprisingly intimidating.
My journaling kits have been designed to give you somewhere to begin. They include journaling prompts, affirmations and a self-care check-in notepad to help guide your thoughts without telling you what you should be feeling.
There’s no requirement to write pages every day or produce a beautifully presented journal.
A few sentences can be enough.
The important thing is having somewhere to pause, think and put your thoughts onto paper.
Reminiscence Activity Boxes for Adults Living With Dementia
Another important part of my business is creating meaningful activities for adults living with dementia.
My dementia reminiscence activity boxes are designed around familiar themes and provide different ways to encourage memories, conversation and enjoyable shared activity.
Each reminiscence box includes a reminiscence activity book, craft activity, conversation cards, scent card and a short game.
The aim isn’t to test someone’s memory or see whether they can remember the “correct” answer.
Instead, the different activities provide opportunities to talk, create and spend meaningful time together.
A familiar picture might prompt a story.
A question might lead to a conversation about childhood.
A scent might remind someone of a particular place or time.
And sometimes the activity simply provides something enjoyable to do together.
Practical Resources for Dementia Carers
Supporting someone living with dementia can involve keeping track of an enormous amount of information.
Alongside my activity products, I am developing practical dementia carer resources designed to help families and carers with everyday communication, organisation and care.
These resources include items such as care logs, communication books, daily notes, medication charts, prompt cards and About Me resources.
While the reminiscence and activity products focus on meaningful engagement, the carer resources have a different purpose: providing practical tools that can help make information easier to record, share and access.
They are designed with real everyday care situations in mind.
Products With a Purpose
There are several different collections in my shop, but I don’t see them as completely separate.
They all come back to four simple ideas:
CREATE
Make something, try a new activity and enjoy being creative.
REFLECT
Take a little time for yourself, write down your thoughts and check in with how you’re feeling.
REMEMBER
Use familiar themes, activities and sensory prompts to encourage memories and reminiscence.
CONNECT
Create opportunities for conversation, shared activities and meaningful time together.
Those four ideas are at the heart of what I create.
What’s Coming Next?
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing much more about the individual products, including closer looks at what’s inside the kits and boxes, ideas for using them, new designs and some behind-the-scenes glimpses of how everything comes together.
I’ll also be sharing useful articles covering creativity, journaling and wellbeing, alongside dementia-friendly activities, reminiscence ideas and practical information for families and carers.
So whether you’re here because you’re looking for a new craft project, a thoughtful wellbeing gift, support with journaling, meaningful activities for someone living with dementia or practical resources for caring for someone you love, I hope you’ll find something useful here.
And if you’ve only just discovered my business, I’m very glad you’ve found me.
